Visitors enjoyed historic treasures

To the editor:Abby Weiss, 9 years old, let out a youngster squeal when told she had won the goody basket drawing at Cape River Heritage Museum. She had told her parents that particular basket had a few items she really would like. Fate works in wondrous ways.

The museum board wishes to thank Jane Jackson, the Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Southeast Missourian for their endeavors making the "Rediscover Your Cape" tour another success.It is such a pleasure to have so many out-of-town folks viewing our city's historic treasures. We thank you for your interest and participation.
