To the editor:
I have heard much lately from the biased news media that takes our president and our country to task for engaging in the war against terrorism.
In the years since terrorists attacked us, President Bush has liberated two countries, crippled al-Qaida, put nuclear inspectors in Libya, Iran and North Korea without firing a shot and captured a terrorist, Saddam Hussein, who slaughtered over 300,000 of his own people.
Some are complaining about the length of this war. It might interest those complainers to know that it took less time to take Iraq than it took Janet Reno to take the Branch Davidian compound (51 days), that we searched for evidence of chemical weapons in Iraq for less time than it took Hillary Clinton to find the Rose Law Firm billing records, that it took less time for the 3rd Infantry Division and Marines to destroy the Medina Republican Guard than it took U.S. Sen. Ted Kennedy to call the police after his Olds sank at Chappaquiddick, killing his lady friend, and that it took less time to take Iraq than it took to count the votes in Florida (Bush versus Gore).
I think our president is doing a fine job. Military morale is high. The anti-Bush media hope the America public is too ignorant to realize the historical facts. Three cheers for America, our military and our president.
