To the Editor: It took more than six weeks and 165 volunteers to review 1,473 entries submitted in United Way of America's Reach for the Stars International Awards Contest. In the end, 157 United Ways were among the award winners one of them being our Y.E.L.L. For Newspapers event!...

To the Editor:

It took more than six weeks and 165 volunteers to review 1,473 entries submitted in United Way of America's Reach for the Stars International Awards Contest. In the end, 157 United Ways were among the award winners one of them being our Y.E.L.L. For Newspapers event!

Awards will be presented at the March 21-23 Volunteer Leaders Conference in Indianapolis. Craig Felzien will attend and the Y.E.L.L. newspapers, related photos and material will be on display for other United Way leaders to see. This award is an honor for our United Way and our communities. Congratulations to all of you!
