THE PUBLIC MIND: TELL BOARD ABOUT FEELINGS ON COACH

To the Editor:

Voters and residents of Chaffee School District, I'm writing this letter to tell you of a great injustice being done to a fine man by a few members of the Chaffee School Board.

Kent Mangels is being relieved of his duties as Chaffee basketball coach. Apparently, he failed to play one member's son enough to his liking! Another member seems to think that he owns Chaffee and should run everything in it. How he thinks that he should set judgment of a coach's ability is beyond me. This man couldn't coach a team if his life depended on it. I guess if we had a Marcus Timmons in our school district, things would be different.

I urge you if you feel as I do, or want to know about this matter, please call these school board members now and let your feelings be known to them.
