To the Editor:

God created Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.

What happened to the days of character, integrity, and faith? How can a candidate run for president, support abortion on demand at taxpayers' expense, have a national gay-rights legislative agenda, and still call himself a Christian? No smalltown, midwestern Christian can conscientiously endorse any candidate who supports such an immoral political platform.

In Missouri we have a law against sodomy; yet, a state-funded university takes fees from students to support an organization that condones and supports homosexuality. I have yet to figure out how this can legally be done. It is, also, an unfair and unjust use of fees taken from straight students.

The Gay and Lesbian Student Association would like us to believe their lifestyle is normal and that 10 percent of population is "gay" but surprise, that's not true! It's more like only 2 percent.

I hear rumors some people want to start an heterosexual group. That should happen, then maybe the upper echelon will see support is not there for funding the GLSA. Use this funding for something important, such as a charitable organization.

The gays probably will ask everyone to wear blue jeans one day to show support. This is ridiculous, because it is such a commonly worn attire a lot of people wear every day. Those of you who want to show support for the GLSA should wear something distinctive, such as hot-pink-pants.

Those of us who dare to be straight make sure we do not wear blue jeans on that dismal day.

P.S. A poll on radio showed 84 percent of respondents believe homosexuality is wrong.
