To the Editor: I wonder if I am the only one disgusted with our overpaid Congress? I have just learned they received a $4,000 cost of living raise in the January pay check. This was included in the big pay raise they snuck through when they were alone in the meeting room. So we taxpayers didn't find out until President Bush had signed the bill into law. This cost of living adjustment will go on forever ... all Congress has to do is accept it...

There are a few in Congress that are trying to get this salary increase and the cost-of-living clause repealed, so maybe if you continue to write your congressman, they might feel the heat and vote to repeal. It is worth a try as they sure won't give it up without a lot of complaining on our part.
