THE PUBLIC MIND: HOLIDAY OF LIGHTS DISPLAY IS A BEAUTIFUL EXPRESSION FOR THE CHRISTMAS SEASON

To the Editor:

The GFWC Scope Club of Cape Girardeau would like to take this opportunity to thank the Southeast Missouri Council on the Arts in cooperation with the Cape Girardeau County Court for the beautiful and meaningful Holiday of Lights display in the Cape County Park North. We also appreciate the hours of work that Chet McCain and the other Parks Department workers do and the many organizations and individuals who invest time and money to make this display possible for all to view.

We constantly hear countless folks in this community and other who visit here, comment favorably on this display and we just wanted to publicly acknowledge our appreciation.

As a community service organization we also appreciate the opportunity to participate in providing a display. We urge all citizens to take a drive through the Holiday of Lights display and enjoy the beautiful expressions of the season.
