To the Editor: We hav~e beco~me a very ner~vous soci~ety about th~e foods we consu~me every day. W~~e read and hear horror stori~es about almost every food that we eat. As ~a mother I have~~ become very cautious about the foods that I ser~ve m~y family to the point of despair. It seems ~like every food w~~e eat is harmful! Who do we ~believe? 'W~hat is fact? W~hat is exaggerated?...

As ~a mother I have~~ become very cautious about the foods that I ser~ve m~y family to the point of despair. It seems ~like every food w~~e eat is harmful! Who do we ~believe? 'W~hat is fact? W~hat is exaggerated?

Well, three cheers for Susan ~Mills who writes the nutrition column ~~in the Southeast M~issourian. Susan ~~writes an easily read and fact-filled colu~mn about the foods ~we lov~e to consume but are sometimes ~afraid to eat in this day and time.~ I look forward to readin~g her articl~es and encourag~~e others to do the sa~me to help p~ut food horror stories to rest and digest accurate nutrition information~ from Susan~'s knowledge.
