Dear Peter Kinder:
Like a shot from the dark, Dr. David Clark's sudden passing hit me, too! I was too shook up to write at that particular time, those words of appreciation, but you did it for me in The Missourian, March 7. You said it even better. Thank you!
I was one of Dr. Clark's patients, for in November, 1984, his surgery corrected a hernia dating back to 1966 and two preceding surgeries on the same hernia. The third and successful one was done by Dr. Clark.
I am a living testimonial of his skill as a surgeon. Though he has passed from among us too soon, the memory of his presence will remain, for who could ever forget Dr. David Clark?
Sincerely,
Emmett E. Duff
