The Lueders exhibit opening at Southeast Missouri State University was a great success thanks to the efforts of many people who contributed their time, energy and expertise to the planning and execution of the event. The support of the library administration and the funding from the Missouri Historical Records Grant Program were key to the success of the exhibit opening. The cooperation of the exhibit planning committee, composed of Kent Library and Archives staff, was absolutely vital. The participation of our guest speakers and the Lueders family made the event particularly memorable. And the overwhelming support of the community that turned out to see the exhibit and hear the speakers made all the planning worthwhile. Thanks to everyone who participated and helped us pay tribute to such an important regional icon as the Lueders Studio.
