Thank you very much for putting forth the effort and sending out the journalists and photographers to the prayer meetings on May 1 at the Osage Community Center and Freedom Rock. The story was wonderfully written and I believe captured the purpose behind the National Day of Prayer.

It is not so much that we were being recognized for being at these meetings as it was a reminder to everyone that we need to continue to pray for our community, nation and world and their leaders, not only during this week, but on a daily basis.

By praying for our world, we become leaders for our world. Praying for the leaders of the communities, nation and world is the best support we could ever give to them, to each other, and to the generations to come.JENNIFER McCORD
