Our GSE team members traveled extensively throughout four provinces on the Adriatic coast of Italy, visited eight Rotary clubs and were introduced to numerous fellow professionals and local officials. We also visited numerous museums, churches, factories and one winery. These visits were very informative and true learning experiences.

What is significant and newsworthy is that this GSE team made the effort to present a 30-minute program entirely in Italian at each Rotary club visited and at the final governor's conference. Only the team leader is fluent in Italian. According to our hosts, this was the first time that a visiting American team had done such a thing. They were greatly impressed and very pleased since very few of them speak or understand English.
