Are you smarter than an Alma Schrader Elementary student?
I am always amazed at the level of commitment from the staff of Alma Schrader to make everything a "teaching and learning" experience.
The recent fundraising Knowledge-A-Thon (KAT), sponsored by Alma Schrader's PTO, was packed with students demonstrating their knowledge to the 75 community volunteers who helped with the event.
Each student was asked 100 grade-level-appropriate questions. (I would be embarrassed to tell you how many I missed.)
Principal Orr and counselor Unnerstall are to be congratulated for their positive leadership.
It is refreshing to see firsthand the visible and measurable influence in these young lives.
