Student drivers need monitoring near high school

To the editor:

I believe there should be a police officer patrolling on South Kingshighway due to the excessive number of high school kids driving to school. First of all, they are 16-year-old kids who do not have much experience driving, and they like to show off for their friends. I think that if the police do not patrol Kingshighway near Central High School more, there will be accidents that could have been prevented. And it would make a lot of adult drivers feel safer and happier. Plus, the city could make some money from the tickets.
