WHAT'S GOING on with all this ozone layer depletion and global warming talk? Studies show that if not for global warming, we would be in the beginning of a new ice age. So, in essence, it's good that we have some global warming. WHY ARE the Democrats spreading fear among the senior citizens and the poor? It's simple, they lost power in Congress which they have had for generations. ...
Freeze or thaw?
WHAT'S GOING on with all this ozone layer depletion and global warming talk? Studies show that if not for global warming, we would be in the beginning of a new ice age. So, in essence, it's good that we have some global warming.
Spreading fear
WHY ARE the Democrats spreading fear among the senior citizens and the poor? It's simple, they lost power in Congress which they have had for generations. They have no ideas on controlling big government spending except by raising taxes all the time. By blaming the rich, they hope to gain votes from the poor and middle class. Their big mistake is, we are not ignorant. We know what they are doing. Come up with a better solution, and we'll listen. Name calling will get you nowhere.

School fund raising
WAIT A minute! Have I got this right? We now have a fund-raising foundation for our public schools made up of ex-board members who quit because of public pressure. Pressure brought on because they misused school funds. Moreover, Neyland Clark, who bought a camera lens for his personal camera with school funds, is serving as adviser to this group. Cape, I believe we have just put the fox in the charge of the hen house, and I don't mean Dr. Bob Fox.
Old school board
THE SCHOOL board is at it again. We don't need the four old school board members, now or ever, on any new school committee. Get wise, school board.
