I WANT to comment about Hillary Clinton's book about how to raise children, "It Takes a Village." I wonder if the village could be Waco. I wonder what chapter she tells about how to put gas down on little Christian children and burn them up down in Waco. Isn't it ironic how somebody who's pro-abortion would write a book about how to raise children? This is ridiculous.
IN YOUR 1995 Top 10 sports highlights review, you failed to mention the Junior American Legion team, which won the district title at Sikeston, the zone title at St. Louis and the state championship at Capaha Park. This sporting event was obviously overlooked. Shame on you.
I WANT to comment about what they're saying about the fight over the budget talks, how they're stalled and the fight is over party principles and not about the numbers or the amount of money involved. It's true, it is over principles. Either we want a big Soviet-style socialist government where they tax the workers and give it to the people who don't work, the party members and people like that, and our grandchildren will be taxed at 80 to 90 percent of their income. Or we want to move to free enterprise where there will be plenty for everybody, low taxes and more freedom. What do we want? We're right now deciding what we want it. It is true that the fight is over principles. That's the main thing. We're going toward socialism as we have been, or we're going to continue the 1994 revolution toward freedom.
I AM saying this to the ex-Republican who is now voting the Democratic way. He sure is misinformed. I've never heard the Republicans say they will do away with Social Security. This is another propaganda lie.
YOU KNOW, they are talking so much about President Clinton's wife in the bank closing. What about the one out in Colorado that President Bush's son was running? We never heard anything about that. It just died all of a sudden. It think it's time we look into it, don't you? Republicans are just as crooked as the Democrats.
