I'VE BEEN getting a lot of fliers in the mail telling me to vote for the boats in moats. The gambling interests are telling me if these boats in moats are closed, our schools will lose $92 million a year. They then try to scare me by saying other taxes will have to be raised to make up the difference. Excuse me, but isn't Missouri already collecting millions of dollars more in taxes each than is allowed under the Constitution? Even without the taxes from boats in moats, the state would exceed the Hancock Amendment limitations. There would be no need for a tax increase. Don't be fooled by casino owners.
I'M GLAD the Republicans are finally running some strong TV ads. While the Republicans in Congress were busy balancing the federal budget and helping people find work instead of being on welfare and reducing taxes and protecting Social Security, the Democrats were busy trying to help out the president. The president lied to us, lied to a federal grand jury and lied to federal judge. The Democrats were forced to cover up for the president. Either knowingly or unknowingly, they lied for him also. The Republicans were doing the business for America. The Democrats were lying.
IT'S FUNNY that all those Republican commercials on TV bum rap Clinton. Hey, don't they know he isn't running for any office?
WE HAVE a sick nation when someone puts this sick president's values ahead of our children's right to honor and respect the office of the president. Watching these political rallies where these people stand in line wanting to touch or get a glimpse of this pervert is beyond me, giving our children the impression that is conduct is accepted. It takes scum to worship scum.
SOMEONE CALLED in to complain about the candidates not reporting which party they are running for. They don't even say what state they are running in.
