Breaking the law
THE SPEAK Out caller who listed all the different scandals of the Clinton administration and then said that nobody was held accountable is absolutely right. The problem is there have been so many scandals, and this administration has been so corrupt, that you get to where you can't even remember all of them. And many of them are very complicated and hard to understand. Maybe we should instead focus on just one scandal. Maybe we should focus on the FBI file scandal. In that case, somebody asked for the FBI files on political opponents of the Clinton administration. That's clearly illegal. They got over 900 FBI files, which was clearly illegal. They still have over 900 FBI files. It's clearly illegal. And nobody has checked to see who ordered the files be taken to the White House. No one has figured out who in the FBI actually carried out the order to send these files. These people should be in jail. And if President Clinton asked for those files, he himself should be in jail. This is a federal offense. It's very simple and it should be prosecuted.
Whining about handouts
CAN YOU believe these people who don't want your taxes cut? Not even the unfair taxes such as the income-tax penalty for married couples. These bloodsuckers want someone else's tax money to provide for them, and they blame something else for the national debt. It's these huge welfare programs and government handouts that cause the debt. Mostly these irresponsible whiners don't pay taxes. They just cry and suck the country dry and want another handout from the government. Well, the government doesn't have the money. The working and responsible have invested in America. But not from whining about wanting handouts. It's called work and character.

The dirty tricks
THE FACT that Democrats bought a Web page, paid for it and implied the way its worded that it was the George Bush/Dick Cheney Web page reminds me that the first thing I can hardly wait to hear out of their mouths is hollering about Republican dirty tricks. It's a two-way street, and the Democrats are trying to slander Dick Cheney, who's a good man, in every way they can. They are trying to bring him down to their level. He never had sex in the White House. He never took money from the Buddhist temple. And he never lied under oath in court. And he's never been fined for lying in court. Yet the Democrats can't find anything else to do but to slander a good man. I think it's very ironic. The first thing they'll start hollering is Republican dirty tricks.
Take a stand
THE BOTTOM line, politically speaking, is simple. Both parties, Republicans and Democrats alike, have over the years whittled away at too many of our civil liberties. Unfortunately, we as a society have become comfortably numb. I believe it's time for us to wake up and realize that we are all being duped. The solution to this problem is simple: Exercise your right to vote this fall. Get up and be counted. Let's bring back the meaning of the words "the land of liberty and freedom for all."
