I have a suggestion for all of the socialist/democrats who want to abolish ICE and provide free healthcare for illegal immigrants: How about providing free healthcare for every honorably discharged veteran who spent months and sometimes years away from their families serving our country. And while you're at it, allow them to seek medical care wherever they choose so they don't die while waiting for an appointment with a VA facility!...

First-year loss
So the Sportsplex is considered a booming success because the event center "actual loss came in at $253,440." Only in bizarre world do we consider a quarter million dollar loss a positive.

Krispy Kreme?
Has the Krispy Kreme deal fallen through in Cape Girardeau? It was reported coming to the William street area by the Town Plaza and nothing has happened.
Music festival
I�m really excited about the Shipyard musical festival. This is exactly what this area has needed for years, with hot new touring bands that have already gained national attention. I�m not sure how they got some of them to Cape.
