Crazy spending

DEMOCRATS like to spend our money. Until the economy stabilizes and the unemployed in our state have jobs, the Tour of Missouri should not even be held. It is a gross misuse of state money, and that money could best be spent to help the unemployed be retrained for other jobs. Or it could be used for food and medical aid. Stop this crazy spending madness on nonpriority events.

Driving changes

I have an idea on how to save gasoline. Let's get bad drivers off the road. First offense DUI: lose license for a year. Tailgating, running a red light, speeding: lose license for three months. We also need to make the test more difficult and retest drivers every few years. I propose testing drivers younger than 60 every 10 years, 60 to 70 every five years and yearly older than 70.

My rights

WHERE in the Constitution do you see the government-run health care? I have a constitutional right to keep the government out of my life.

Ironic march

IRONICALLY, the relative handful of people who recently marched on Washington apparently marched against the very federal programs that prevented the Great Depression II and the possible collapse of our great nation.

More apologies

REP. Joe Wilson apologized to the president. He still needs to apologize to Congress, to the American people, especially those serving in our armed forces, and to his mother. I'm sure she didn't raise him that way.
