I thought the Republican Party was all about allowing people to make up their own minds about matters -- freedom of choice, if you will. And yet Missouri's lieutenant governor seems to be telling 800,000 uninsured Missourians and others to trust him and to under no circumstances sign up for an insurance program available on the federal health care exchange, starting Oct. 1.

Clippard traffic

I wish somebody would do something about the traffic in front of Clippard School. You go down there and it takes 15 or 20 minutes just to get by the school. Somebody is going to get hurt.

Jensen's column

Breaking news! Mike Jensen has caved on Obamacare. He recommends that Republicans assume a fallback position and adopt other issues on which to take stand. Ted Cruz and Sean Hannity would consider Jensen an appeaser. I consider him a common sense conservative.
