I'm confused. I thought that a red light meant that you were supposed to stop, as opposed to it just being a suggestion. Be nice if the police would actually enforce that law. There seems to be a nationwide problem, from watching TV and such, but so many people are talking so very fast, as if they've got to get so many words out per second or per minute. ...

I'm confused. I thought that a red light meant that you were supposed to stop, as opposed to it just being a suggestion. Be nice if the police would actually enforce that law.
Slow down
There seems to be a nationwide problem, from watching TV and such, but so many people are talking so very fast, as if they've got to get so many words out per second or per minute. They may think they're emphasizing things when they talk fast, but if you listen to all these fast talkers, when they want to emphasize something and want you to understand what they're saying, they slow down when they speak. So why don't they speak slower all the time so you know what they're saying?

Oil study
Shipping oil overseas would lower gas prices, the study said. I hope the people of the United States won't take that bait. Remember what happened to our propane prices here in the United States when we contracted too much propane overseas. I wonder why they think all of us are so stupid we don't realize what they try to tell us so they can get their way. Shame on them.
