Texas endorsement

If Texas Gov. Rick Perry goes out of his way to endorse a Missouri legislative proposal, you know it has to be a ludicrous idea.

Stifle themselves

Ask all of these people who are complaining about Cape's sewer problems if they backed President Obama's plan to spend federal money to rebuild our nation's aging infrastructure. If they didn't, then tell them to, in the words of Archie Bunker, stifle themselves.

Perry interference

Missouri does not need Rick Perry to decide or support what we do about taxes or anything else. He has made quite a mess in Texas, he can just stay there and keep out of our business.

Perry's policies

It appears that Texas Gov. Rick Perry is getting under the skin of some Missouri Democratic leaders. Why? Because he's inviting Missouri industry to relocate to Texas because the tax laws are better there. Well, thanks to tax policy in this state, many industries have already relocated to Texas. If these Democrats would stop complaining about others and just start doing something beneficial for business, then they and we wouldn't have a problem. Fact is, I'd rather businesses relocate to Texas than overseas, and the way the Democrats, starting with Obama, keep attacking American business and passing ridiculous regulations and slanting the system in favor of their buddy trial lawyers, that's exactly what they've been causing.

Missouri flag

What's so great about the Missouri flag? Sure, it was designed by a Cape Girardeau lady. But it's not really that great of a flag. Isn't one of the basic laws of flag design that if you need to put the words of the place represented by the flag on the actual flag, then you've failed? It's like Missourians are so stupid that they can't remember their own flag, so let's make sure to put the word "Missouri" on it.
