I would like to know, when President Bush was in office, when his polls got low, it was all over the front page, even on the first thing on the TV that you saw on the news. Now Obama has a lower approval rating than Bush, and there's not one word about it. I think the news media, instead of reporting stories, they're doing more covering up than reporting.
I think the insurance companies ought to update their polices, so that if an individual is texting or talking on a phone when an accident happens, I think they ought to be fined and the insurance companies ought to have the right to cancel their insurance and void and not have to pay the damage. Now, if a person kills another individual while they're texting and talking, it ought to be the same as a DWI. They go to the penitentiary, and you have to file a SR22 form, just like a DWI. Maybe that would stop a lot of these wrecks that are happening.
Isn't there a Missouri law that says wipers on, lights on? So many people don't do this.
To all the people who did not exercise their privilege to vote Tuesday, Aug. 5, you have given up your right to complain about anything the state or counties do in the future. And don't blame the rain for not going to vote.
