Prop A vote
The main losers in Tuesday's vote on Proposition A are the rank and file union members. All conflict is over who gets the power, and the union members had a chance to take some power from union management. The way it is, members have to turn over some of their earnings regardless of the quality of service they receive from their union officials, if they want to keep their jobs. With Right to Work, if the union officials do not provide good service the individual members can withhold their payments to them. Would definitely make them pay more attention to their members.

Traffic failure
The new traffic flow design around the Jackson high school looks like it was designed at the junior high by students from the middle school who were being supervised by students at the elementary schools who were implementing a plan developed at the pre-k.
Russia, special elections
CNN reports that Democrats have won only two special elections, in Pennsylvania's 18th Congressional District and in Alabama for the Senate last year, since President Trump took office. But, but, but... Russia must be to blame.
