That the Republican-controlled U.S. House of Representatives would fail to pass an emergency bill to deal with our border crisis makes me acrimonious to the point of apoplexy.
The amazing renaissance of downtown Cape may not yet be on a par with that of 16th century Florence, Italy, but it's very close.
Surprisingly, the tweaking of the dress code in the Cape public school system will someday be seen as a move that led to an astounding increase in student academic achievement.
Now that school is starting many are complaining about "helping hands" needed so all children have school supplies. These children cannot control how their parents live. They cannot control lost jobs or bad health. If we help them now maybe they will become responsible adults and they can then pay it forward. Bad things happen to everyone sometime.
Water parks are wonderful, but climate change might require those located in this area to be modified into outdoor ice skating rinks.
