Abortion opinion

Say what you want about abortion, it's still the slaughter and killing of the unborn. In my opinion, a woman who does that shouldn't be allowed to have children when she really wants them.

Food stamps

There are a lot of reports to the effect that many of the Republicans who voted to remove the food stamp provision from the farm bill represent a lot of folks who receive food stamps. No they don't, although they're supposed to and it makes me wonder how they are able to sleep at night.

Farm bill

The severing of SNAP [food stamps] from the farm bill was bad enough, but what really stinks is that agribusiness concerns are now more than ever guaranteed by the taxpayers a minimum annual income -- pure socialism -- and replacing the elimination of the much-needed food stamp provision with pork-barrel-laden projects of the lowest order.
