Parents, be sure to see the movie "America" at the local theater and take your high school and college kids with you. It's excellent. It reveals important historical information about America that the left and progressives fails to to tell our students or downright hide from them to pull them into their radical ideology.
When are we as human beings going to show concern for unborn babies' rights rather than animal rights?
It is so clear Obama and his cast of clowns are so out of their league when it comes to anything, but foreign policy is making all of them look completely ignorant of what they are facing. If Obama and Kerry think you can sit down and share a cookie with the enemy and tell them they are going to be in time out if they don't behave, let them go over and make nice with the terrorists. They would last all of maybe one minute. I can't believe he pulled the wool over so many -- making them think he could do anything but do community organizing. They and all the rest of us will suffer for years from his lack of experience. God can only help the United States at this point!
Wayne Bowen recently wrote a column ruining my burgeoning interest in soccer. He wrote there was a "conservative case" for liking soccer. Why did he have to politicize it like that? Maybe he was attempting to counter the argument of another conservative firebrand, Ann Coulter. Coulter recently opined that our obsession with soccer is a further sign of our nation's decline. This intra-conservative disagreement between Bowen and Coulter reflects the serious split within the conservative community.
Re: Transportation tax story. What a wonderful list of projects for Missouri; something for everyone. Now, if everyone was paying for the tax then this would make sense. However, the poor and the middle class will be paying a much higher percentage of their incomes than the upper classes and the big trucks that use and abuse our infrastructure. When will the newspaper write a balanced story about all aspects of an issue?
I am tired of seeing parents not spending time with their children. I am a mother of two children. I work outside the home, and as soon as I get off work, the first thing I want to do is be with my kids! I used to work at a daycare, long before I had children, and it always bothered me to see parents coming to pick up their children in workout clothes or freshly showered hair.
Why do neighbors play their stereo so loud I can't leave my windows open to enjoy the cool weather?
