My comment is about the Common Core and Jackson. We have people working for us in our small business who have graduated high school, and they cannot make change for anything. I mean, they can't change a five-dollar bill from a $2.46 purchase and they don't know what do to with it; they just sit there and stare at it. That should be part of the Common Core.
I wish the news media would use language most people would understand. The Ohio kidnapper who forced those girls he held captive to miscarry; how are those babies who were miscarried more like babies than those who are aborted? What gives?
A friend of mine didn't get her proper notice for jury duty. When she finally got it, her husband was out of town and she was threatened to have her children taken away by juvenile authorities. Is intimidation part of jury duty? I would like to know.
This is for Mayor Rediger. We have a lot in town to be proud of, but I think he misses the boat with the history of the Cherokee in the area. They actually stayed here for a while. This should be looked into. This area is rich with their history and we should honor them.
I graduated from Southeast decades ago, and at that time, hardly anyone got a perfect 4.0. Now, there are 24 with perfect grades. Does anyone smell a rat?
