13-year-olds

I just read in your paper about the reality show (about) teenage rebels. What 13-year-old doesn't like to have a life of their own? They're still at home with their mothers and fathers. And they've not got a job, because, you know, 13-year-olds aren't supposed to work. They're supposed to behave like 13-year-old children and live within the family rules. We don't need another reality TV show showing kids how to be unruly and disrespectful. We need a reality show that shows kids how to respect their parents, people in authority, that kind of thing.

Jackson intersection

I was calling about the railroad tracks at the train intersection at Jackson. They are so rough. They just shake my car to pieces. Is there anything someone could do to get these repaired? Is the state that hard up for money that it can't fix an intersection that's being so rough? You can't stay in your seat when you drive over them, or your car goes sideways. Why can't this be fixed?

Fair sports

I think your two-page story in Wednesday's sports coverage of Notre Dame baseball was a little overdone, especially when other teams from this area did the same thing in Class 1, and you had a very, very small article. Can you please be more fair in your coverage of sports in the area?

Same callers

I can tell by the phrasing that at least four of the Speak Outs in the paper on 5/29/2014 were written by the same person. An obvious left-wing fanatic. According to that person, everything wrong with America is conservatives' fault. Don't give this person a forum to spout their hatred.

Mental health

I agree with U.S. Senator Roy Blunt that we need expanded and improved mental health services, but I would concentrate the effort on members of Congress.
