Ladies would some of you give some feedback? What do you do with all the little slivers of soap that you have left over? Weekly, we must have three or four because we run through them a lot. It seems a waste to throw all those little pieces out and I know people used to know what to do with those, but I am at a loss. Would somebody please call in and tell me what they do with theirs?
I agree with the Speak Out caller who was wondering about the silly things that are being proposed like changing a slogan now from the "Show Me State" to the "Great River State." That is exactly what happened in Cape Girardeau when somebody had too much time on their hands and changed the beautiful slogan, the "City of Roses," to whatever that slogan is that we have now.
I want to thank someone for turning in my billfold lost at Primary Care. I received a call reporting it found before I realized it was missing.
We know our country is going downhill when our politicians put a person like Rush on a pedestal.
I just want to tell everyone that I had to have several tests done and by the time it was through I owed over $5,000. We are talking about maybe 20 minutes at the most. My goodness. We are going to run out of money pretty soon and the Lord says if somebody asks you for your coat, you take yours off and give it to them. We need to practice what we preach.
Regarding a story in the Southeast Missourian on May 13 titled "Personal ties can tie gay marriage attitudes." I realize that it affects every family as everyone I have talked to has a gay member in the family, but it doesn't change my attitude and it never will change my attitude. I believe that marriage is meant for man and woman.
JP Morgan
A recent comment in Speak Out by an uninformed poster said that JP Morgan was a perfect example of why we need more government regulation. If this uninformed commenter would have taken a better opportunity to learn about the facts of the case instead of just listening to the drive by media, they would have realized that JP Morgan actually posted a $4 billion profit at the same time that they had a $2 billion loss. This is typical of liberals in our area.
