It appears the Midwest is in a cooling trend. It's cooler this spring than it normally is. I don't know why and I don't know how it compares to the rest of the world. I don't know why this is, but I know it's not George W. Bush's fault.
Taylor Crowe's timely editorial cartoon on April 15 is one of the funniest I have ever seen on the deer issue. I laughed a long while over this inspired cartoon. Thank you, Mr. Crowe. Still Laughing
Has anybody noticed those campaigning on behalf of common core are multibillion dollar international corporations? They would be thrilled to have such access to personal data through the guise of education. Follow the dollars.
Missouri is famous or [take your pick] infamous for a whole lot of things. However, I didn't find out until recently that we're considered the country's capitol of puppy mills.
So the casino made $62 per person or 7.6 million dollars last month. That is money that came mostly out of the pockets of those living within 30 minutes of Cape. Money that for the most part is leaving the area. In exchange for the $7.6 million dollars leaving the area, we are accepting $449,000 in money returned to the city. That doesn't seem to be a good trade.
