Limbaugh on Pruitt

David Limbaugh always blames the "evil" left for anything his people get caught doing. Those horrible Democrats forced Pruitt to accept bribes and lie to his own president. Those terrible reporters "lied" about the millions of dollars wasted on trips and self-indulgences. Right.

Great dance at SEMO

Thanks again to the students at SEMO for their performances in Spring into Dance. It was really impressive choreography and dancing. How fun it was to see everything from modern to aerial to folk and ballet. There were other kinds too, I just don't know what they're called, except "beautiful" and "exciting". The acrobatics were amazing, too. The talent at the university is something special.

Stormwater

While the city speaks openly of its past accomplishments and future plans regarding stormwater, for some reason it feels it can turn its back on one of its streets that floods on a very regular basis. It is not at all uncommon to have 2 feet of water in our street. Twice in the past two months we have had over 4 feet and once we had almost 4 feet. The city has code that does not permit water to exceed curb height. It also has a code that prohibits the alteration of storm drainage channels. This is all a result of an altered drainage channel and a closed off emergency spillway, and the city does nothing. All that is required is a letter. "Put it back the way it was." The city is out the cost of a stamp.
