I WAS wondering why there hasn't been any news coverage about the recent discovery of a meth lab in the Allenville, Mo., cemetery. Meth is a problem in the Delta area, and there wasn't anything in the papers or on the news. There ought to be some coverage on that so that people will be aware of it. It is right here in our communities and not elsewhere...
Meth at Allenville

Meth is a problem in the Delta area, and there wasn't anything in the papers or on the news. There ought to be some coverage on that so that people will be aware of it. It is right here in our communities and not elsewhere.
Book strikes fear
WAY TO go, David Limbaugh. Like your brother, Rush, your ever-growing achievements and success are readily apparent by one of the Democrats' most favorite and effective tactics. Besides race baiting, promoting ambient hate through duped non-achievers are proven favorites from their leftist play book. Your book is fantastic, by the way. It proves that truth, logic and success are what liberals truly fear. Therefore, they hate you. As evidenced by the Speak Out almost every day. You're working them up to a witless frenzy of envy, so keep up the good work.
You're not the judge
TO THE Christian who does not approve of shorts in church: You evidently didn't read Matthew 7:1 which says, "Judge not that ye be not judged." Yes, I think God would approve of shorts in church. However, I'm not sure if God would approve of you doing his job of judging. Be careful when you call yourself a Christian. Our Lord may take issue with that.
Law-abiding support
WAKE UP, America. The international communist movement is trying to get America disarmed. It's trying to strip all law-abiding citizens of their protection for their families and their country. The plan is to disarm Americans, and then these communists will overpower our country and take over with their autocratic, absolute power control of every citizen. But they have overlooked one very important factor. This is the home of the brave, and we will not be enslaved. We now have a courageous and brave leader in President Bush and his very capable vice president and secretary of state and others who will not allow America to be overrun by these communist thugs. Law-abiding citizens are 100 percent behind President Bush and will support him all the way.

No fat jokes
THIS IS in regard to the anchors of the KFVS-12 news. They cracked jokes about fat people, and I don't think it was very funny. It's not nice of them to do that.
Not a style show
IS CHURCH supposed to be a fashion show? I go to church to worship God, not to see and be seen.
On both sides
EXCEPT FOR the news, the only thing I watch on TV is "Law and Order: Special Victim's Unit" on Friday night. For those of you who missed it, the March 30 installment was loosely based on the life of the late George Roche, who was the president of Hillsdale College. He had an affair with his daughter-in-law who committed suicide on campus. Roche used to write columns, many of which appeared in the Southeast Missourian. He consistently extolled the virtues of conservatism, clean living and family values. Roche's sordid lifestyle reinforces my view that, along with Clinton on the left, there are plenty of right-wing grifters.
Just clam up
ONE WAY to increase voter turnout might be to censor the Southeast Missourian editorial writer who keeps poking holes in suggested ways to increase voter turnout.
