I'd like to thank the Southeast Missourian for Today's Prayer. It always gives me a good lift.
Please, people, rise up and stop whoever wants to change our state flag. We have a beautiful state flag. We celebrated its 100th anniversary last year. Do not change this beautiful flag.
I would like to make a comment about the drought in California where they only have maybe 50 days of drinking water left. Look who got them there. It's nothing but Democrats. Just get rid of the Democrats and their policy, and there'll be plenty of water, because then they'll be able to drill for water and stuff.
This is another comment in regard to the TV content. We also agree with the recent Speak Out callers in regard to the trash TV. Our solution has been to record movies or programs ahead of time. Then we fast forward through the commercials or put the TV on hold or stop, in order to grab a snack or take a break. Then we're able to return to pick up right where we left off. We've also searched and discovered a channel called "Uplifting Entertainment" that is up-to-date relevant, but has family-friendly content. This takes a bit of preplanning, but very much worth your time and effort in the long run. There are even some good games on the game channels or old movie channels. You might also actually turn off the TV and have family game night. You actually interact with each other and get to know your kids better.
I'm concerned about the president and all the liberal Democrats who want rich people to give up their wealth to the poor and low-income people. So I recommend that all Democrat politicians, as well as the president, quit taking any more money from the rich as they campaign for another office. If they are against rich people, they don't deserve to take their money and then put it into their campaigns. I also believe that it is not possible to share the wealth.
