Weiner vs. Clinton

I notice in the major news media that people are upset about Anthony Weiner, claiming how disgusted they are. What about Bill Clinton? When he did his thing, they had all these people on TV saying, "Oh, everybody does it."

No energy drinks

I saw on TV where they think the energy drinks the young kids are drinking may have caused some deaths. If that is true and there is proof of that, then why aren't these drinks taken off the market? Why are they still on the shelves for our young people to buy and drink?

Post Office cuts

The Post Office has cut so many people and services that it looks to me like they need to be cutting some of the management team.

News coverage

Only in the Southeast Missourian would stories about cellphone towers make the front page while stories about people being shot and dying in accidents are on page 7.

Jackson, Sharpton

There's only one reason why Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton won't go to Detroit and tell young African-Americans to stop killing each other: They're too afraid that they would also be killed.

Who won?

The Jackson Homecomers was a lot of fun, but I have a complaint. I bought tickets for the grand prizes, but they haven't published who won them. I don't know if I won or if anyone else did. I would like to see the winners published, or I will not buy tickets next year.

Hillary's movie

A four-hour TV movie about Hillary Clinton shouldn't be allowed to run because it sounds likes NBC's form of politics.

Strong Putin

I'm glad to see that Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia, is not backing down from President Obama.

Congressional recess

So Congress is on a five-week break. I don't see that they have done enough work to justify a break, let alone five weeks. This is the most worthless bunch of do-nothing, political-maneuvering, forked-tongue-speaking Congress I've ever seen.
