I am for the Cape Girardeau County Commission planning and zoning the county. I think it's a good idea. I thought Republicans like Jo Ann Emerson wanted to create jobs. But I see that they want to tear up the health insurance bill. We passed the law so that seniors won't have to be in the doughnut hole. Why is it that they say one thing and do another?...

Jobs, not health care

Leaf collection
IT'S sad to see the leaf collection trucks driving around the neighborhood without anything to do. What's sadder is to see all the leaves down on the ground without anybody to pick them up later on.
Jackson post office
I'M very disappointed with the Jackson postal service. They have two windows. When a crowd gathers in a semicircle around the room, they should put a second man in the second window.

ALAN Journet always claims lies and distortions when he writes his columns, but he doesn't say what the lies and distortions are.
Eyesore
I would like for someone to pick up all the trash between Cape Rock and Lexington over Snake Hill. It is a big eyesore.
Birth control coverage
I think many Catholics believe in birth control, and I think it should be covered free of charge if it's going to be under Obamacare. Birth control is a wonderful thing.
Use the phone
WHY is the president hopping on that expensive plane and going everywhere? Why doesn't he use the telephone?
