Apparently anointed new Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy has admitted that the Benghazi hearings (now the longest in American history, surpassing committees investigating the attack on Pearl Harbor, Watergate and many other matters) are partisan and designed to bring down Hillary Clinton. I am shocked beyond words to think that Congress would waste millions of dollars for political purposes. At the same time, I appreciate congressman McCarthy for being so up front with the American people by admitting what no one knew.
