Prayers for police

I just want to challenge all of Cape and surrounding towns to call their police on Fridays or Thursdays and let them know they are in your thoughts and hearts and prayers. It means so much to them. I do this every weekend. I ask them to pass it on to other police. Especially if you're from a police family like I am.

Habitat for Humanity

As the price of housing in our area grows and grows, it is great to see a man like Chad Hartle who is willing to work to help senior citizens and Habitat for Humanity. The price of land goes up and the builders are developing senior units with large footprints and larger price tags. Thank you, Mr. Hartle! Now, all we need is to find someone willing to teach young homeowners how to maintain their homes.

As the presidential election gets ever closer, it seems to have in ways become not a contest for the presidency but between which person or group can be the most selectively outraged.
