Website waste?

I give up. So you're telling me that a state government site for reporting waste may be a waste?

'Gone Girl'

Dear Ben, fellow actors and crew of the movie "Gone Girl": We have been so pleased to have you here in our city, knowing our community is a good fit for your film. As a teenager, I worked at the Esquire Theater back in the early 1960s, and my personal love for movies has never diminished. In fact, my sister and I still enjoy doing movie trivia just about anytime we get the notion. Ben, while I'm sure I'll be seeing "Gone Girl," I want you to know also that I look forward to seeing you as Batman later on down the line, and have all the confidence in the world in you in that role.

Bus cameras

It is hard to believe there are some people who don't have the sense God gave them to stop for a school bus loading or unloading children, especially when the bus driver has all the proper signs and lights displayed. People need to read about the subject in the Driver's License manual. From what I have been able to find out, what is even more sad is Cape school buses are not equipped with outside cameras to record license numbers of people whizzing past a stopped bus. There are cameras inside to record bullying. Not even buses transporting students with special needs have outside cameras.

Bravo

Great show! Kudos to everyone involved with Legally Blonde. The dancing, singing and acting were terrific, as were the sets and lights. It's so full of life and energy. You all should be so proud.

Encouraging news

It is encouraging that parts of the government are starting to reopen. It proves that at least some Republicans believe a smidgen of government is necessary.

Host dinner

I think it would be nice if the city of Cape would host a meal for the cast and crew of the "Gone Girl" movie. This has been done in other filming locations. Maybe make it a community event?
