Seeking brothers and sisters

My husband was adopted when he was 5 years old. He is now 56. The Perryville, Mo., newspaper ran a story about him trying to find his brothers and sisters. A wonderful family responded. They knew people who knew people and found someone who could have told my husband his parents' names. They worked at the hospital in Cape Girardeau and were afraid of losing their jobs. Of course we did not want that either.

This was four years ago. We received a letter from the county clerk's office telling my husband he was the youngest of 11 children and a toddler when his mom gave him up. The clerk also sent a photo of him. He looks to be around 2 years old or so. It was the first picture he had ever seen of himself as a small child.

My husband has long given up, but I know there are siblings in the Cape Girardeau area who wonder what happened to their baby brother. Rick is a wonderful husband, father and grandfather, but I would love to be able to find any of his living siblings. Can you imagine having 10 brothers and sisters older then you that you haven't seen in more than 50 years? We have searched with the help of wonderful people. Will you help in our search?
