Safe House thank you

On behalf of the Safe House for Women board of directors and employees, I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to members of our community who supported the 2011 Vintage Now Fashion Show. More than 700 people attended the event, and an amazing $30,000 was donated in the form of sponsorships, ticket sales and silent auction items. Funds generated from this event will be used to support the services provided to victims of domestic violence in our community.

A special thank you goes to the members of the event planning committee who gave so generously of their time and talents over the last several months and to the many volunteers, including the models, who made this event a huge success. I am especially grateful to Deb Maevers from Pastimes Antiques for creating the vision for this event and the commitment and enthusiasm to make it happen.
