Roof deck was properly installed

Drury Co. feels compelled to respond to Lindy Bavolek's assertions in her June 27 article that the roofing work on Jackson High School's new Event Center was a "botched roof job," which is untrue.

Drury Co. is not the roofing contractor on this project. Drury Co.'s work was limited to the installation of the roof deck, which was placed in strict accordance with plans, specifications and job schedule. Any assertion in her article of defective work on Drury Co.'s part is an inaccurate statement.
