Since my musical life began at Central High School, when Brandon Hahs asked me to help with the singers in "Pirates of Penzance" I was happy to oblige. The students and teachers welcomed me with enthusiasm, total attention and gratitude. I was so pleased to be able to return the same to them when I attended their final performance.

I want to publicly thank them for their diligence, hard work and focus while we prepared for "Pirates." It was so wonderful to see everyone leaving the performance feeling uplifted with smiles galore. That's the response a wonderful musical evokes. I urge the community at large to support all future musical productions in Cape Girardeau. You too will receive a special joy and pride.
