To the editor: With the recent death of Pauline Fox, professor of students at Southeast Missouri State University, the region has lost a superior educator and mentor to all students who came in contact with her. I am aware of many circumstances in which Dr. Fox was central and influential in the enrollment and further education of students, thus affecting their lives and futures in a most dramatic way...

The university has lost a fine ambassador and asset with her passing, and it will be hard-pressed to replace her.
