It's outrageous that someone who does not ride a motorcycle would write about how dangerous it is to ride without a helmet. Mandatory helmet law states account for 61 percent of total motorcycle registrations. They account for 64 percent of the accidents and 65 percent of the fatalities. How would you like it if you had to wear a helmet every time you drove your car? Don't laugh. A National Highway Traffic Safety Administration study determined that thousands of lives would be saved each year if motorists were forced by the government to wear helmets. You might be next.
