Old Bethel seeks financial help

To the editor:

Thank you for your excellent editorial in Tuesday's paper, "Old Bethel." We are excited with the work already done on this significant historic site in our area. We are trying to raise money to complete the restoration. Many people living in Southeast Missouri are descended from people buried in Old Bethel Cemetery. We are hoping they and others will want to contribute to the work we have begun.
