To the editor:
Opinions in Central High School's Tiger newspaper on the Tiger Pride Drive issue did not represent all opinions held by the student senate. Many student senate members believe democracy was in action. However, this does not change the disappointment.
If the decision was based on what would benefit the community, then it was a good decision. I'd personally like to thank the mayor and council for their time and consideration of the issue. We in the student senate are excited by the alternatives proposed and will continue to serve the community as planned. We do not hold oppressive thoughts toward the city council or the general population. We believe they did their job. Tiger Pride will survive.
