More telecom choices, competition

To the editor:

I would like to respond to your recent article about the telecom legislation. It seems to me that the issue isn't about the big companies, the little companies or the cable companies, but about the consumer. The telecom competition bill brings more choices to consumers and shows that Missouri is a good place to do business. Senate Bill 237 encourages competition, better prices and more choices. I would like to thank state Sen. Jason Crowell and state Rep. Nathan Cooper for recognizing that the real winner will be the consumer.
