Meaningful ceremony for officers

To the editor:

I would like to thank the Southeast Missourian for its support of the annual law enforcement memorial held each May and sponsored by Seniors and Lawmen Together. The contributions made by Cheryl Ellis through the Southeast Missourian Jr. have made for a more meaningful ceremony for those officers who have died in the line of duty.
